Why Web Developers Use Notific.io for Instant Web and Push Notifications
One of the main reasons we created Notific.io was to make web developers’ lives easier. Being developers ourselves we have struggled with creating a system to deliver notifications in our past projects. In the process, we have realized that a tool that could easily integrate a notification system would save many hours of development time. Here’s why web developers have enjoyed using Notific.io for their projects.
Ease of Use
We designed Notific.io keeping in mind that web developers have a ton of things to tend to while working on any project. Ideally, your main focus should always be on delivering the core functionality of the product under development. But that isn’t always the case. Doing things like building the backend infrastructure and designing the UI for web and push notifications serves as a distraction from your main goal.
Notific.io rids you of that burden with one very easy-to-use system. As we’ve shown in a previous tutorial, all you need to do is add a single line of HTML code to your web pages to have a powerful notification system up and running. That doesn’t just mean the ability to send your users notifications, but also more time to work on the core features of your product.
Design & Delivery
Notifications need to be visually appealing. Like a website or mobile app, design can determine whether web and push notifications achieve their intended goal. We’ve built Notific.io in such a way that you don’t have to spend a lot of time fussing over the design of the messages you send out.
We designed the default notifications to appear aesthetically pleasing no matter which browser or format your customers use. A WYSIWYG editor, which was released in a recent update, lets you add text and emojis to the notifications. We have a few different notification types (alerts, success, etc) that add appropriate presets. You can add custom code yourself to further modify the design of notifications.
In addition to the attractive design, Notific.io also handles the delivery of notifications across different formats. We have in-app notifications and email notifications ready to go, with support for web and mobile push notifications coming soon. Using Notific.io means never having to worry about different browsers or mobile operating systems messing with how notifications look or perform.
API & Integrations
We’ve created an API that helps automate and cognify web and push notifications. You can use it to implement notifications that work in coalition with specific business goals. For example, if you run an E-commerce website, the API can trigger notifications every time a cart is abandoned. There is also a PHP SDK that makes it extremely simple to interact with the API.
In addition to all that, Notific.io offers Zapier integration. Web developers can use this to easily automate workflows relating to the notifications they create. Check out this video to see how to quickly connect Notific.io to MailChimp using the Zapier integration.
